Sober Living Facility

This is a lengthy article, but quite interesting. I wrongly  assumed you had to be licensed to run a sober living center. Never knew Costa Mesa had 102 of these facilities. If there's this much fraud now, just wait until California approves single-payer healthcare.

I know someone who is renting out their's costal investment property to one of these similar type of rehab operator.  They love it since these large mcmansion can easily fetch some decent amount of reliable monthly rental income and you don't have worry about frequent vacancy issues.

Not sure if Irvine banned such rehab center at residential neighborhood, a few costal city does allow it.
