I see all mainstream media, CNN, NY Times, etc. reporting on Trump's surprise visit to Iraq. Unlike Fox News that will literally not air or talk about 1 single negative thing about Trump.

Yeah . Nice quote I read somewhere that Trumpism is a thing people get into when they've run out of interesting things to get into

Bar is so low that Trump visiting the troops is actually something that is worth of cheering for.

just like trump not visiting the troops is actually something that is worth criticizing him for?  :)

And of course...Trump too busy to visit the troops or Arlington but not too busy to golf.

WINNING!

Quote
President Trump threatened to cut federal emergency funding for California’s firefighters in the middle of a partial government shutdown.

On Wednesday morning, Trump complained that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sends billions of dollars to California to fight fires that are the result of poor forest management.

“Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forrest [sic] fires that, with proper Forrest [sic] Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!” Trump tweeted.

He didn't seem to care that the Houston's lack of planning/proper zoning led to the widespread flooding from Harvey...hmmm.

Nice job Trump...another super short-sighted and eye rolling decision

Quote
SEOUL (Reuters) - The United States and South Korea are struggling to narrow differences over the share of the cost of maintaining U.S. troops after a U.S. demand for a 50 percent increase in the South's contribution, a South Korean lawmaker said on Tuesday.

Despite 10 rounds of talks since March, the allies have failed to strike an accord to replace a 2014 deal that expired last year, which requires South Korea to pay about 960 billion won ($848 million) a year for keeping some 28,500 U.S. troops there.

U.S. President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that South Korea, where the United States has stationed soldiers since the 1950-53 Korean War, should bear more of the cost.

The U.S. military has warned Korean workers on its bases they might be put on leave from mid-April if no deal is reached.

At their last meeting, in December, the United States made a "sudden, unacceptable" demand that South Korea pay more than 1.4 trillion won per year, about 1.5 times its current contribution, according to Hong Young-pyo, a senior ruling party legislator.

Joy Behar lets it slip why the media is jumping the gun and reporting fake news all the time...surprise..they hate Trump and want him out by any means necessary...duh!

On Tuesday's edition of ABC's 'The View', co-host Joy Behar said the Covington Catholic incident at the Lincoln Memorial this weekend occurred because "we're desperate to get Trump out of office."

WHOOPI GOLDBERG, HOST: Many people admitted they made snap judgments before these other facts came in. But is it that we just instantly say that's what it is based on what we see in that moment and then have to walk stuff back when it turns out we're wrong? Why is that? Why do we keep making the same mistake?

JOY BEHAR: Because we're desperate to get Trump out of office. That's why.

ABBY HUNTSMAN: Not everybody though.

GOLDBERG: What does that have to do --

BEHAR: I think that's the reason. I think the press jumps the gun a lot because we just -- we have so much circumstantial evidence against this guy that we basically are hoping that Cohen has the goods and what have you and so it's wishful thinking.

GOLDBERG: Right, but let's talk about the kids in this particular confrontation since that's the question at hand.

Pelosi 11 Trump 0

Quote
n the latest twist in their political and seemingly personal feud, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent a letter to President Donald Trump Wednesday afternoon saying there would be no State of the Union address in the House chamber until after the partial government shutdown ends, effectively rescinding her invitation to the president.

"When I extended an invitation on January 3rd for you to deliver the State of the Union address, it was on the mutually agreed upon date, January 29th. At that time, there was no thought that the government would still be shut down," her letter said.

"I am writing to inform you that the House of Representatives will not consider a concurrent resolution authorizing the President’s State of the Union address in the House Chamber until government has opened," Pelosi, D-Calif., said.

not sure what you're arguing here.  schools, movies, news, pop culture are all saying gun violence is good?  movies yes, but not the other 3 depicted in the cartoon

Those who use Twitter , highly recommend following Alexandra occasio Cortez or “Aoc” just for the fun tweets and postings . You will quickly see why people in Davos are scared of her and why she gets under most right wingers skin ... who are obsessed w every small thing she does ..

Agree w her or not , she is setting the agenda for 2020 And  everyone’s catching up .  Just as liberals ignored trump at their peril in 2015 , conservatives should not be dismissive of the grassroots movement she is powering right now
