Shutters depth for windows with different depths

At this point, we have decided to go with Golden west shutters. Most of the windows have 0.5inch depth so we can't do an inside mount. With 3/4 inch louvers and the hidden tilt, we're looking at a shutter depth of 2.25 inch.

For some windows, we can do inside mount and have a depth of only 1 inch. We're debatting if we want to do a shutter depth of only 1 inch for those windows or something closer to that 2.25 inch (so maybe 1.5-1.75) so there's not a big disrepency of depth between the windows.

We looked at the model home and for the same exact louver size, there are doing 2.6inch shutter depth for the windows with outside mount and 1.9inch shutter depth for the windows with inside mount. Not sure if this is a common design concept to keep them close??
