261 toll road jamboree to irvine blvd

Does anyone know if anyone can take the 261 from jamboree to irvine blvd for free?

I dont have a tollroad transponder but i think when i looked this up, that stretch of 261 from jamboree to irvine blvd is free. 

this would save me a heck of a lot of time where as i now i continue on jamboree (through the marketplace) all the way to irvine blvd which is super slow with traffic.

I don't think so.  I accidentally got  on the toll and exited there and had to pay.  I believe it was that exit...

Northbound onramp offramp
Southbound onramp offramp?

I never take that route but that's my guess

Yes, you will have to pay the toll. 

The signage clearly states " T O L L " under the 261 markings.

I've taken that route before and there is a toll.

Should have told abosch00 there was no toll.

Then we should have put up a sign at exit.
