Good luck, most vetted AC guys are booked during the summer. Watch out for those that promise "be right there". At least the weather is cooler, get some air circulators so it can blow the hot air out of the house quick. One tip is to point the fan out the side door of your hot garage in the evening. Any rooms above it should feel a difference at night.

We just used Connected a few weeks ago due to a plugged condensate line, among other things. Spoke to Duane in the morning, and Jerry was at our house later that afternoon. He took care of the plugged line, performed maintenance on our 15+ year old A/C unit, and adjusted the registers throughout the house.
I also gave Thomson a call but they were booked until later in the week. I have used Thomson in the past and really liked them and their work as well.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. Called Connected and got Duane in the morning yesterday. He told me to give James a call and leave a message. He called me back at 6pm and asked if I was available tonight. I jumped on that appointment.
He showed up 30 minutes later and instructed me we were way low on refrigerant. He ended up spending 1 1/2 hours cleaning our unit and refilling a lot more refrigerant than he first quoted. After he was done he came to me and said he would stick with his quote and charge $200. He was kind of down about having quoting me so low for all the work he did. I felt really bad and appreciated the quick response and quality work. I ended up giving him more than $200 and told him we appreciated his work.
Highly recommended and well worth it.
