Since we don't have a WTF Ugly thread, I'll post this here:
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/122-Kestrel-92618/home/160702750

Should probably win the award for ugliest "front of the house" design in all Irvine if not all of OC.

I think my 3-yr old drew a picture of a house that looks like this!

Does that mean that's how she sees a house as?
Welcome to Irvine.

Not to be counseling your profession or anything, but I would kind of be careful with saying these kinds of stuff. What if that very owner came and asked you to be their listing agent? Although I'm sure you meant to make fun of the photo, not the home itself?  ;)

I'm not a RE agent, I work in Tech.  I have no skin in this game, dog in this fight, etc.

If the owner came and asked me to be their listing agent, I'd recommend USC.

Anyhow, what planet is this seller on thinking that the home has appreciated $250,000 in about a year?  How about stage the home if you are going to ask for a crazy price?  haha

Well it is pending now.. Buy now or priced...... wait, you are already priced out.  I think Irvine Real Estate Market has picked up again

This property last sold for 1.22M in 2014.  I think the 1.55M price is justified as it was originally a new home purchase.  So + upgrades and landscaping, the appreciation is justifiable.

My guess is that it closes around $1.52-$1.53m

One of my co-workers had artificial turf in back that looked like this house backyard.  Looks like they got it from WalMart clearance aisle and just rolled it on and nailed it down.  Really had to bite my tongue when he was bragging about it.

How could that have been built in 2015?  is that a typo?

It looks like an 80s rehab on the cheap!
