I agree that the HOA shouldn't get involved but it should offer an online forum or other form of communication to allow homeowners to warn fellow homeowners in the neighborhood. Some HOAs have that. Some do not.

If you read my post, it's more of an observation/statement than a complaint. Maybe I should just regurgitate laker/sports news.

I expected Orchard Hills to be a bigger topic on TI but it seems like there are fewer posts about it then say when the cypress village rolled out.

So what's the verdict?  Do we listen to the bad female driver with a gun or the big Mexican with a bat?  Tough call.

What about just buying a cheaper house?  You didn't give us a complete picture so I'm just making assumptions but if you are stretching for the down payment - what about the other house buying costs?  House upgrades/maintenance/repair?  6 months rainy day fund?  Real estate taxes?

The answer is maybe. The parent would need to organize the bussing efforts though which means gathering the minimum # of students in the neighborhood to sign up for the bus service and coordinating with tusd. Not sure how much it would cost but it would not be free

Because thank god she had a guard gate!  What if she didn't and drove straight home to her marine corp husband and her gun?

This whole thing is lame. He was wrong to follow her. But some people are making this out to be "oh my god, he's crossing the line because he followed her HOME!!!"

Irvineguy - to be fair, he didn't follow her home. He was just following her. She led him home. 

Which is why this whole thread is head scratching. It seems like her actions last night were to protect her two small kids sitting in the back. If that's the case, then why post about it on here with baiting comments to the guy driver.  It would seem to me the original poster is in a lose lose...

Isn't it kind of stupid to lead the guy home?  Now he knows where she lives (guard gate and all). The better plan of action in this situation is to drive to the police station.  Or have the driving skills to lose him in irvine traffic.
