Carpet costs and recommendations (with outside contractor)

I have used Tom from New York Carpet in Anaheim several times and have always been happy. I feel that you pay less there, and they do a great job on installation. They sell 1st and 2nds, so make sure you check when purchasing carpet.

We are thinking about getting the Macubus Quartzite. I love the look of the lines, but not sure about the maintenance.

Does anybody have the price sheet for the 4 houses that were just released in Marbella? I am just curious to see what they have priced these houses at.

We have Gaylene. We initially were assigned to another designer, but requested Gaylene right away because we heard she is the best at Toll. We are happy with her.

I went today to check out the houses, and was dissapointed with the view. I do like the courtyard feel when you enter the houses.  The decor and upgrades were less than I expected for houses at this price range. I prefer Trevi or Hidden Canyon over this community.

1a is expected to be done around November. I don't mind a slow start at all because it allows the buyer to pick all structural options. I love the fact that Toll allowed us to pick out ALL of the options in our home. Other builders will start construction on a house before it is even sold, so...

The price tag for the Arizona tiles were not too high surprisingly. I think it was around 5 to 6 dollars per sq ft.

I went to the Arizona tile store yesterday in Anaheim, and there are several variations to this tile. It is from the Over Series. If you like this look, but do not want something quite as loud, you might consider the Over White or Over Cream.

Yes, I totally worry about that. If you stay in the house for a very long time, the upgrades will really cost you in tax. We spent a lot on structural and electrical, but are conservative on cosmetic options that we can do later.

I believe it is still 48 inch but it is a different design. It looks more like a chimney style.

Went to the design center today. We were quoted 12,100 for the 48 inch subzero. Does anybody know if this is a good price? Also, I found out that if you want the furniture package the only thing you will need to upgrade is the hood. The stainless steel hood is 500. The precast one is much...

One big issue that I have with the paint through Toll is that you only have 5 SW colors to select from. I can't live without having my Ben Moore Revere Pewter!

I think 7600 is a good price for paint. Toll is charging 9100 for the Manhattan paint.
