several of my colleagues found their nanny on care.com. they have background checks on all the caregivers on their site. we have a 1-year-old and have been contemplating getting a nanny also. we'll probably care.com when that day comes. hope that helps!

yes we read to her every night before she sleeps. the question was intended to keep her busy and distracted for a few minutes since she can be a fussy eater at times. i wasn't looking for a substitute babysitter. thanks for your concern eyephone.
