Portola Springs Neighborhood 4B: Brisa, Celeste and Talise

I have been living in Portola Springs for the past 2 years, and am myself in the process of buying a home in PS.  Obviously I like it here.  I don't mind that it is away from "stuff".  I grew up in San Marino which is far from freeways, and the only supermarkets are in other cities or in the...

Portola Springs Neighborhood 4B: Brisa, Celeste and Talise

Not sure if they are selling well or not, but I did see a Brisa residence 1 pop up on Redfin: https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/Undisclosed-address-92618/home/144671775?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=1010602_Driving+Tours&utm_source=strongmail

What's my best bet for a home in Irvine under $600k?

I am interested in Brisa and am tempted by this new development in PS3, but it looks like it is in the area right across from the low income apartments/Anton Portola.  But then again it is also right next to one of the newer phases of Indigo. I believe the area is already being worked on; I...

Ah okay, that makes sense.  I am a newbie, and didn't know they were the same. I'll expand my search to include Jade.  I was pretty bummed I couldn't find any reviews for either neighborhood on IHB.

Portola Springs Neighborhood 4B: Brisa, Celeste and Talise

I think I figured it out, I think Celeste is the same as Luna.  I was checking out a listing on Redfin (150 Firefly) and realized it's the same as Celeste Floorplan #2.

Portola Springs Neighborhood 4B: Brisa, Celeste and Talise

I grew up in a suburb in LA that wasn't close to anything either. I had to drive out to the next cit(ies) over for groceries, food, etc., and I was also hella far from any convenient freeway(s).  My parents picked where we lived because it was safe and had one of the top school districts.  I...

Portola Springs Neighborhood 4B: Brisa, Celeste and Talise

I went up there this evening to check it out, and saw a sign at the gate for Azure (?), Brisas and Celeste.  I already saw what looked like outlines of model home constructions. No landscaping yet, just mounds of dirt. It?s in the middle of nowhere but is elevated. I wonder if the prices are...

    133/405 (PA18) Medical/Science development

If Chris Christie was a CEO of a private company, and New Jersey was the corporation, then the analogy would be more applicable. Private actors can pretty much do anything they want, aside from committing murder and sexual assault.  However, that isn't the case here. Governors/mayors/etc...

https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/401-Trailblaze-92618/home/143079706 The house number may be a problem, and bleh to tandem parking...  But $612k for 2 bed, 2.5 bath, two levels, and brand new in Portola Springs (I think this is Plan 7x of the Vine) is not bad. . . I went to their website and...

    Irvine BLVd/Modjeska: Great Park

I might be wrong, but I think what you are referring to may be district 4/next, a mixed residential/commercial/park development at GP after Parasol and Altair. See here:http://www.talkirvine.com/index.php?topic=15216.0 andhttp://www.talkirvine.com/index.php?topic=15635.0 I am interested in...
