out of curiosity- why are you no longer interested?

Does anyone know if there are any people on the wait list for these properties? Are they selling? I was called again today after we cancelled our reservation from the last release.

Yes- we cancelled today.  :-[ Not sure if we did the right thing but leaning towards homes that are totally done in same price range  Columbus Square is a mile away and all settled in.

I just called TUSD and they did confirm that if the transfer request was done in time then they absolutely have priorty. Good to know!

It appears that the parents are putting most of the down payment so they can make arrangements based on how many years the kids have paid the mortgage and loan balance. However- if they are Asian- there is no going sour. We just have to deal with it. Lol!

Did they reduce to price recently? We did go look at homes in that area. But Kallins went into escrow. This house does seem like a great deal. I may have to go check it out. What is the overall tax rate there?

Haven't signed contract yet. Just the reservation. We have an appointment on Wednesday to sign contract.  Thinking resale home may be a better deal. Especially with all the work that will need to be done on top of the money it takes to upgrade post closing. Baker ranch jail is a deal killer...

Thinking of pulling out- hubs can't get over The 1.7% tax rate. Any words of wisdom?

I say you do the purchase transaction with the parent as occupant borrowers, use the down payment- then it's not gift- deed vested as 25% interest for each person, you, wife, mother, father, then in 1 yr, refinance just in your names and keep parents on title.

is this the area with a superfund site? is beacon park better than greenwood at tustin legacy?
