    Distance learning?

We are just going to do the Virtual Academy for the first trimester. Main reason is due to the current status of the outbreak. Does anyone have confidence between now and the end of the year? Second reason is even if we do Hybrid, 1-2 positive cases (kids or staff) and we are back to Distance...

If your anxious to pay, worst case, you can look it up online for the privilege.  :P

    2nd hand smoke

I had a similar issue when new renters moved in next door to us.  Just be polite and let them know that you spend time with your kids outside and you are concerned.  For us, it thankfully worked.  Not perfect, but a lot better than "all the time."  If that doesnt work, then escalate.  Good luck!

    Contractor Pricing?

We are looking to updating the door casing/moulding in our home.  Not a major project and should take a couple of weekends.  I could go to Home Depot or Lowes, but decided to get a better selection at World of Mouldings in Santa Ana.  I have gone there before so I am familiar with their...

    Pediatric Dentist

Our kids (6 and 4) go to Dr. Lee and we like him. Although we have only had cleanings, the office is new and the staff is friendly. No long waiting times which is good for the kids.

    Housing about to Blowup

Of course El Camino and Westpark have pools and parks.  But they just aren't spiffy new and arent the "pocket parks" that are marketed to distract you from your postage-stamp sized lots!  ;)

Hardwoof floors. Self install or get a pro?

+1.  There are some things you should get a pro.  If you are investing in hardwood, go pro.  This is not like laminate which I did on my own (not fun either).  They do it better and faster.

    COX v. UVERSE

I have one set up in Taiwan for my dad.  It's certainly not the best quality picture and we have issues sometimes when you need a hard-reboot, but it does the job.  You just need it hooked up to a TV that the source end donst use much so you can control the channels.

    COX v. UVERSE

I have Uverse just for the internet and have no issues.  But I dont stream alot of stuff.  I got a one year contract that im happy with.  Hopefully, they wont jack up my rates too much next year.  :-X

Atleast some parts of Westpark have the option of either Traditional (Culverdale) or Year round (Westpark).  And no, im not the owner either!

But it was builit in 1987!  Ok, so I dont have the lot size (only 6000) or location (near Culver), but maybe I shoot for $1M too?  :o

Ok, so this does not fit the "newer" definition, but certainly fits the "WTF" one I think:  http://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/7-Anzio-92614/home/4661983 I understand the larger lot and good location, but, if you had $1M, wouldn't you find a better place than Westpark?  Btw, I live in Westpark...

    Stair Railing Recommendations?

So on one of the few nights we go walking around the neighborhood with the kids, we noticed that one of the neighbors have upgraded their stair railings and it looks pretty nice.  We checked our a few of the advertisements we get in the mail and they quote like 10K!  I'm not asking for something...
