I received notice this week that the empty land at the corner of Sand Canyon and Traduco(which has been empty for the past 10 years even after Cypress Village was built out) is now being proposed to have a mix of apartment style homes and low-income homes. I was hoping they would use that land...
Thanks to a crappy appraisal (which I had to paid for), my breakeven point on the Better refi has ballooned to close to 3 years, which doesn't make much sense anymore. I feel like I wasted my time and money on a pointless process now. Hope others don't make the same mistake I did here. Their...
Good for you. I think the problem with Better is that they are married to their automated program code, and if you veer off just a bit from their protocol, they seem to get a brain freeze and don't know what to do. Reasonable, common sense human discretion seems to be thrown out the window. ...
Just to give others some perspective about Better.com. I've been very frustrated with Better.com. Their refi process is much more complicated than it needs to be. They appear to ask for a lot of information that is akin to getting a new home loan from the ground up. And now they are...

Does anyone have...
The hard credit check didn't really change my Better.com rate much.
Since Ally uses the same Better.com platform, the Ally loan officer didn't think the soft versus hard credit check will really make much of a difference. Perhaps yesterday was a fluke but Ally has not come back to match...
What do you guys think about Better.com and their $2000/$6000 American Express statement credit? I suspect Better.com probably factors in that American Express discount when offering their rates, thus making it a wash out? Thanks!
It seems that 2.75% for a 30-yr jumbo refinance with a $2k+ closing credit with Ally is the best deal going on right now. Wondering if there's any no-cost 2.625% 30-yr jumbo refinance right now?
