Emergency Cell Phone for Kids
« on: August 18, 2011, 11:27:37 AM »
Does anyone know a good/cheap phone I can give to my child.  This is only in case of emergency and can only dial 3-5 numbers.  Something we give to them if we are at Disneyland or something and we get separated.

I found a couple of helpful websites that list services/phones for kids:

It looks like most of the major carriers offer some type of kid phone and allow you to restrict who they call, data, and text messages. Depending on the age of your child, you can get them something as simple as a LG Migo or Firefly vs a full featured pre-paid smart phone via Kajeet. Good luck with your search.
