Man killed in Irvine collision that overturned his SUV

Seen 5 or 6 cars blow right through red lights in the past year alone.  Saw one go right through a red left from Portola onto Culver without even stopping just yesterday.  Very sad.

I'm guessing

1) someone wasn't paying attention...  gotta check that cell phone...
2) black car was heading south on IVB at a relatively high speed
3) white car was making a left turn from north on IVB to west on Jeffrey

I see people run reds on Jeffrey heading towards Portola direction on a daily basis...  Red light runs are most frequent with people turning right from Walnut onto Jeffrey.  They don't stop first and look, it seems.  I often have to hit my breaks for them. 

One guy stops and looks and goes, and then the next 2 people behind him just go not stopping and not looking...  I'd like a cop to sit there for a month and ticket as many of them as possible.  Instead the cop sits about 300 feet away near the train bridge underpass looking for speeders on the big dip...
