Quail Hill Mail Theft

You do know that mail theft does not get counted toward the FBI crime index. Since it does not affect it this will not be a priority for the Police to crack down on the thieves and the same applies to the red towel madams at Woodbury.

This was on their FB page:

MAILBOX THEFTS ON 4/2
As many of you know, the Tapestry, Sienna, and Vicara tracts (maybe Olivos, too?) experienced a significant event of mail theft on Sunday morning 4/2. Several residents, including a member of the Master Association HOA board which is responsible for the aforementioned tracts have been in touch with IPD. The USPS Postal Inspector will probably also get involved, too.
At least 80 homes, according to IPD, had their mailboxes raided between 4:00 and 6:00 am. Several residents were able to capture video of the alleged perpetrator and have turned these recordings over to the police. Other residents are urged to check their cameras for useful information and report this and any other relevant information to IPD. Please use Case #17-04600 as a reference so that all reports are consolidated into this single matter.
The Board has also contacted its security patrol to see if it has any useful information which will also be reported to the police.
As always, residents are urged to empty their mailboxes frequently and to be mindful when valuable or sensitive documents are in transit. We can all help to fight crime by keeping vigilant watch.

Indoor shopping mall is dying because people shop on line and teenagers don't hang out with their dates at the local food court anymore. Hopefully with the rise of mail thefts this could revive the greatest American invention the indoor malls.
