Sadly, these homes are zoned for El Toro HS, when Trabuco Hills is one mile away. Poor planning for Toll Brothers in a community that is closer to Mission Viejo than Irvine.
 
Still close to the jail but at least you're next to a Sherriff substation so if you spot an escapee in your yard, the response time is quite minimal.
 
Aye Caramba! Not zoned for a HS you can walk to? How did that get missed?

$900k (starting...) to live next to a freeway and a over-lit sports park (zero quiet, zero night sky) built on top of a dolomite mine which cannot support any plant/ tree life, plus added bonus of driving your kid to ETHS? Yow! Those are some high hurdles to overcome.

I understand your concern, but the freeway is a toll road, there are barely any cars, especially after 9pm. It's very quiet over there and the contemporary home designs in Parkside are very popular. I am glad you mentioned this, the Musick County Jail is part of Irvine, not Lake Forest. It's much closer to Beacon Park and Pavilion Park.  Parkside isn't anywhere near that facility.

I spoke to people working in the Sheriff substation, it's actually a community service station with an emergency response team. It's placed in the area so deputies don't have to drive all the way from the Aliso Viejo main station, this substation does not have a holding cell or a probation office. It's main purpose is to provide emergency response service.

Just curious, are there any plans in the future to make the 241 toll road free access anytime soon? Or at least your access point to help commuters?

Looking at a map, the easy access points are the toll road and maybe the 133, but those are not free.  The only other route I see is taking bake all the way down to the 5 or wrapping around alton to Portola high.

I'm having a hard time believing you are only 7 minutes away from Irvine spectrum and 15 from woodbury without using a toll road.  Even speeding, it'll take you minimum 15-20 mins to get to spectrum and longer to get to woodbury

Don't hold your breath for free toll roads. The original date was 2040 but was moved back another 13 years due to refinancing--NEW date is 2053!!!

I routinely cruise by here via Portola Parkway. I'll stop in.
 
3 story home makes it a no-go for me. Can't you have a basement instead? Also, only a 2 car garage in 3,700 sq ft is no good. Not counting the third floor, a 3700 sq ft home has a floorplan almost identical to my 2000 sqft home. Are you counting the garage and loft in the square footage??

The garage does not count in the square footage, but the loft does.
Only two of the floor plans have roof top decks, the other three floor plans are two-story homes.
