Concerns about buying a home near a substation

Does anyone have any thoughts about buying a home and living near a substation?  Was looking in cypress village east where they have one on great park blvd by valley ridge.

The homes aren't right next to it but you would pass by it every time you drive in and out.  It is a bit of an eye sore but I didn't think it was that big of a deal.

Would love to see what others think - such as potential electricity noise and health concerns and of course resale value.

If it bothers you now, it will bother you more later:

So how do I get to your house?
Make a right past the big ugly substation, can't miss it

I can't say much about electricity noise and health concerns since a new home may be far enough from the substation.  Also there are power lines going right though some neighborhoods and people have been living there for decades, even next to other substation.

However, it will be a tough when you need to sell your home.  Every thing has its price and is negotiable but I when I was looking for a home, I said no to any homes next to major power line, rail roads, major high way, substation, industrial buildings...
