I heard something the other night for like 20 minutes or so above our house.  It was making a constant noise, kinda like a cricket but different.  I'm assuming it was a bat and googled bat noises and didn't hear anything similar, but I still confident it was a bat.

Yup.  Call it an educated guess.  What else would be making that noise overhead at night?  While I could be wrong, I was confident enough to that I would have bet money on it. 

Sounded a bit like near the end of the video Dresden posted.
