Los Olivos Marketplace, a new retail center near Irvine Spectrum, will add 120,000 square feet of store space by spring 2016.

The Irvine Co., which owns and manages the property, announced nearly a dozen new tenants that will occupy the new space. They include:

? Angelina?s Pizzeria Napoletana: The pizza chain, which specializes in Neapolitan-style pizza from an all-wood fired oven, will open its second Orange County location.

? Blue Eyed Girl: The womenswear boutique will feature denim, knits and sweaters. The store carries designers such as Hudson Jeans, Joie, Free People and more. Los Olivos will be Blue Eyed Girl?s fifth Orange County location.

? Burger Lounge: The hamburger joint specializes in using healthy ingredients, produced in a sustainable environment.

? Hoag Medical Group: Hoag will provide primary care services such as health screenings, annual exams and vaccines at Los Olivos.

? Newport Colony: This upscale tabletop and kitchen store sells dishes, flatware, glassware, linens and more. Mariposa, Mud Pie and Voluspa will be among the brands sold at the store.

? Panini Caf?: This Mediterranean restaurant chain, which already has other locations in Orange County and Los Angeles, offers kabobs, salads, paninis and hummus plates.

? Radiant Hot Yoga: The studio offers both classes and certification programs for yoga enthusiasts. This will be the Newport Beach-based chain?s second Orange County location.

? Also coming to the center: Chase Bank, WellsFargo, RiteAid and Starbucks.

A 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods will anchor the marketplace. Construction on the grocery store has already started and is expected to be complete before the end of the year. It will be Whole Foods sixth Orange County location.

?The collection of casual dining, retail shops and services will give Irvine Spectrum residents, employees and visitors a new local destination to meet their daily shopping and dining needs,? said Easther Liu, chief marketing officer for Irvine Company Retail Properties, in a statement.

The shopping center is located at 8673-8697 Irvine Center Dr.

Los Olivos Marketplace: Six new tenants, including the first Orange County location of a San Diego-based taco shop, will join the dozen-odd tenants previously announced for Los Olivos Marketplace, a new retail center near Irvine Spectrum. The Irvine Co., which owns and manages the property, has said the center will add 120,000 square feet of store space by spring.

The new tenants are:

Puesto: This eatery serving Mexico City-style tacos has locations in downtown San Diego and ritzy La Jolla. The Irvine store will be Puesto?s first Orange County location.

Burnt Crumbs: The owners of food trucks Burnt Truck and Dogzilla previously teamed up to launch Burntzilla Modern Eats. Now Los Olivos Marketplace will host the second Orange County location of a gourmet sandwich shop, Burnt Crumbs, created by the same truck partners.

Cups Frozen Yogurt: Customers at this self-serve frozen yogurt shop will choose from 24 flavors of froyo and more than 50 toppings and sauces to create their dessert.

Phans55: This will be the third location for Phans55, which serves Vietnamese comfort food such as spring rolls and pho.

Polished Perfect by Twila True: This nail studio is owned by Newport Beach investor and entrepreneur Twila True, who also runs True Investments with her husband, Alan. The store also has its own line of nail polishes, skin care lotions and fragrances.

SwimSpot: The designer swimwear store has locations in eight California malls, including the Spectrum, and one in Hawaii.

That Puesto, Mexico City-style tacos, looks pretty good and they got some interesting tacos.

Puestos was okay... very expensive for "Mexican Street Food". We tried 6 different tacos (during happy hour they are $3.50 each instead of normally 3 for $15).

Strangely enough, the best one was the Taco of the Month, a pork belly taco. All the other ones they regularly serve are meh. The ones I like the most are with the crispy cheese.

Out of places here, we like to go to Burger Lounge, Phan 55 (overpriced Vietnamese food) and Burnt Crumbs (from the Burnt Truck peeps).

Still haven't tried the Italian place but looks more like an overprice pizza joint.

all the stuff in the los olivos center aims to be high endish food except they all miss pretty bad. The only one worth checking out is panini cafe
