Where to buy a piano?

For electronic piano, go to costco. For non-electronic one, you can try keyboard concepts.

If you can wait and know how to select, you can wait for pianos retired from UCI or IVC (though used, the condition usually is still very good).

If you're willing to drive, I recommend checking out this place: http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-piano-warehouse-van-nuys

Used Yamahas, new Kawai and Pearl River, nice guy and much cheaper than traditional piano dealers.

I would buy a used Yamaha upright if I were in the market today.  I've played a Baldwin, Zimmerman, and Yamaha, and the Yamaha sounded the best.

We're looking in the $3k to $5k range. Thank you.

Make sure your kid likes to play the piano before you make the purchase. Or else waste of money....

We live in Stonegate and are moving overseas.  Would like to sell our < 1 year old piano, bought brand new from Kim's. We bought it for $2500.  It would cost too much to move, hence we would like to sell. Please message if interested.
