Toxic land - Irvine

Bad for my health! I'd never live in the great park becaudjsaoirjefs,md gnfkjgmsdf

Sorry - my fingers slipped off the keys due to the fact that my fingers are covered in grease from my KFC fried chicken.  - posted at 7:05am

Looking at Meccos's website, the worst section of Irvine is that plot of land off the 5fwy Sand Canyon exit all the way up to Trabuco. Pavillion Park levels don't even come close to what's right off the exit.

Seems like the new homes being built near great park is not the healthiest place to live....

I recall when I looked at the homes in Tustin fields three years ago, they made you sign a waiver saying that you would never eat anything you grew in the ground...

The EPA PDF report in the 2nd link is interesting - various maps of progress on the TCE cleanup.  Check out the last page, there has been significant progress between 2006 and 2013.

Pavilion Park is actually not toxic, but is guilty by association.

PP is downhill from the landfill.  I bet the land underneath is already saturated with toxins.

Nope, looks like landfill plume is headed straight for Stonegate.

I suppose being downhill from the landfill is preferable to actually living on top of the landfill, as in Newport Coast.

The landfill is double-lined and very little chance of leaking into the ground.  The bigger issue is actually landslides....which could threatens PS.

This is clearly not Irvine.
1.  There are no asians.
2.  There's a black guy.
3.  The blonde is not wearing yoga pants.

I just like having accurate information...I already bought my house, I'm stuck.  The people who are still looking are the one who need the information.
