I've been taken to task here for typos, so I shouldn't cast stones, but I found this funny.

The house was picked up cheap back in the downturn days but they are high on something if they think they'll get that price being up against the infamous Irvine Blvd.  haha
 
Dang, they listed it for $989,000 but couldn't sell it for 6 months.  Then sold it for $742,005

Was it some sort of short sale?

It was a short sale. I remember this one because I made an offer for $780K on the house next door (22 Bungalow) at around the same time which was also a short sale. The selling agent tried to get me to use them as my buying agent. I declined and the house ended up getting foreclosed and sold later for $760K. Shenanigans!

Fortunately, I found another short sale home and everything worked out in the end. Karma!

Man 760k... my dream of moving from the ghettos of WBE to WB could've been realized along with getting a coveted driveway.  USC, you need to let me know if you see anything like this on the market!

Is there a den at least for 22 bungalow? 3 bedrooms seems low for a house with all that space.

I did.  They owners said they fix it up from bottom up.  All they did really was flooring, carpet and paint.  The outside BBQ and water fountain was from the previous owners.  They got a steal at $742,000 short sale 2 years ago.  Trying to make $500k profit is kind of crazy for not investing much.  The noise wasn't as bad as I thought, but would have to check during rush hour on the weekday.  Large 7k lot at end of cul de sac was kind of nice.  I think they want too much though.
