Orange County Auto Show $3 discount

I usually go to this show when I'm shopping for a new car since there is no sales pressure, I can see all brands (even exotic race cars) in one place and I can take my time checking out the interiors.

It's Oct 15-18 Thu-Sun (starts tomorrow) at the Anaheim Convention Center, for more information go to:

<a href="http://www.motortrendautoshows.com/Orange_County/">http://www.motortrendautoshows.com/Orange_County/</a>

If you click on E-tickets, you automatically get $2 off the $10 admission and if you use the promocode EARLYBIRD, you can get an additional $1 off. Kids are free (they actually have fun going there) and it's open until 10pm Thu-Sat.

There's also this special from Motortrend if you're willing to fill out a form. Free ticket plus a year's subscription to Motortrend.

My Honda dealer - OC Fladeboe - just sent me the same promo above. Different promo code from above in case you want to use them both and get <strong>TWO</strong> free tickets if the same one won't work twice. <a href="http://www.autoshowtickets.com/oc/index.asp?code=OCFLADHND">HERE</a> it is. Promo code: OCFLADHND

UPDATE:

1) The "free" tickets are only good for TODAY AND TOMORROW. BUT if you present the ticket on SAT OR SUN- you can buy up to 4 tickets for $5 so that's still not a bad deal - it's half price - but not free this weekend like I thought it was.

2) I tried using my code and then stng's posted above. It only lets you use one email address regardless of the code. So, pick a different email account for another free ticket to use Thurs / Fri. Or just print one and buy up to 4 at half price on Sat/Sun as described above.

If any of you still get the paper OC Register, there is a coupon sticky note on the front page for 50% off tickets.

I'll probably go tonight... does Mercedes make a mini-van (heh)?

Gah... even though the coupon says "ticket<strong>s</strong>" and doesn't say one per person, the people at the booth were enforcing that. I was a bit perturbed and the lady went ahead and gave me a $2 discount on the other ticket... but still... if the coupon doesn't indicated a quantity limit and actually says "tickets" plural... you got to honor it.

It was okay, it gets smaller everytime we go (we last went in 2006 and then 2004 before that). One thing... no Mercedes presence. My wife read on the web somewhere that Fletcher Jones said that MBZ was concentrating on the LA Auto Show in December... which I find shortsighted as I think of all the automobile companies... MBZ could afford to do both shows.
